How the Meetings Run
As you enter the church's fellowship hall, please stop at the membership table and check in. Here you can sign up for Show & Tell, find new member materials, or renew your membership. Guests are asked to register and pay $5 to help defray the cost of the speaker. (Join the guild that day and we'll waive the $5 fee.) Flyers and promotional materials from quilt-related vendors and groups are also available here. Around the room you will find opportunity drawing tickets for sale, outreach drop-off, and so much more.
Each meeting starts with guild business and announcements from our board and committee chairs followed by Show & Tell which is open to any member who has a quilted project to show. After a short break for time to visit together, our program - featuring a lecture or trunk show by local quilters, authors, fabric designers, and others - begins. The program portion of our meetings usually lasts about an hour. While most of our meetings feature a speaker, a few are devoted to celebrating each other or sewing for charitable donation.
