This year's challenge is a block of the month (BOM) for charity. Each month our Outreach Committee will present a pattern and instructions for a very easy 14 1/2" block. The finished blocks will be 4-patch patterns comprised of 4" x 4" squares and/or 7 1/2" square block combinations. We will make a total of nine blocks over nine months, so the quilt will have three 14 1/2" blocks across and three 14 1/2 " blocks down, making a finished quilt 42" x 42". This size should be easy to quilt on your home sewing machine. If you don't have batting, the Outreach Committee will be happy to provide it for you.
Each month's pattern will be included in the newsletter, send out by email to all members, and posted on our website. Have fun with this project! Try a pattern you've never sewn before. Or, if you don't like the pattern for any particular month, improvise and create your own masterpiece. Use any combination of fabrics and just have fun.

Would you like to meet other guild members? Would you like to visit quilt shops but would rather not go on your own or are reluctant to drive by yourself? Well, we are planning several day trips this year and at least one retreat you are sure to enjoy. You know it's always more fun to be out and about with a fellow quilter than on your own or with a disinterested significant other! Watch the newsletter for dates and details.
On hold due to Covid-19.
